Dallas, Texas 09/22/2014 (ustradevoice) – Chinanet Online Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:CNET) said that it won the best company award in Chinese Entrepreneurial SME Business Development Marketing held at the Chinese e-Commerce Industry Conference in Beijing. The conference was organized by CECA. The conference was attended by media and hundreds of famous internet companies were also made its presence in the conference. The business leaders and the government officials shared their new ideas on internet and e-commerce industry. George Chu, COO of ChinaNet., said that the rising cloud and mobile industry has resulted in the complexities on the internet industry. ChinaNet rightly assesses the needs of the businesses and provides the efficient and target oriented-solutions to its customers.

TTM Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTMI) entered into a deal to acquire Viasystems Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:VIAS). The deal is said to be valued at more than $250 million in stock and cash. The deal can be announced on Monday. The two companies didn’t respond on the news. In 2002, Viasystems filed for bankruptcy and emerged back a year later. Also, it went public after one year. Viasystems has market capitalization of around $245 million. TTM and Viasystems reported combined sales of $2.5 billion in 2013.

NXT-ID Inc (NASDAQ:NXTD) issued the corporate shareholder update after the recent funding and uplisting to NASDAQ. The company successfully completed the funding round and joined the NASDAQ to speed up production of Wocket™. The funding will also be used for expansion of its biometric and authentication services and products. The measures will allow NXT-ID to track new markets and distribution channels. It can also promote consumer awareness by using social media platforms.

Sigma-Aldrich Corporation (NASDAQ:SIAL) entered into a gene editing association with University of Michigan Medical School. As per the new partnership, SIAL will provide School’s vector core with its Sigma CRISPR technology, gene editing bioinformaticians and experimental design consultation. The association will speed up gene editing-based research work at the U-M Medical School.
